Shirley Speakman

Shirley Speakman is an Investment Manager at Investment Accelerator Fund (IAF). Currently there is a $27.5M fund in creating and investing in new companies that are Ontario based. IAF is in collaboration with MaRS and Angel Network Program and they are an “early stage investment fund”. This means they fund companies at their seed or start-up level. IAF is not focused on companies already funded and spanning in money, and they also do not have a seat on the boards of companies; they prefer an observer position to the company.
