The Intensive Innovation Support Initiative provides intensive one-on-one innovation support to Welland-based companies and entrepreneurs. Services available through the program include:
- Innovation / R&D needs assessments
- Direct linkages to national or provincial innovation/commercialization support programs
- Preparation of necessary documents (proposals, business plans, engineering specifications) to access funding/investment
- R&D / Innovation strategies
- Market, technological or commercialization intelligence
- Conferences and technology tradeshows
- Linkages with R&D institutions, such as Colleges, Universities and government laboratories.
